Submit your enrollment confirmation deposit
Once you’ve decided to attend UNC, confirm your space with a $200 nonrefundable deposit. Fall admits should confirm by May 1 or, if you’re admitted after May 1, within two weeks of acceptance.
Attend Destination UNC
UNC has a variety of admitted student events to help you make your final decision. One of the best choices for admitted students is Destination UNC, a full-day event where you can eat in a dining hall and explore the academic and student-life side of being a Bear. Other visit options include Daily Tours, Coffee Chats, or, if you can’t make it in person, our virtual tour甘肃快3人工计划.

Check Your Financial Aid
After submitting your FAFSA, you’ll receive a Preliminary Award letter. Preliminary Award letters will be available mid-December for new students who have all required paperwork completed by December 1. Official Award letters will be mailed out in March to all students who complete the and all required paperwork. Check your 甘肃快3人工计划account regularly for financial aid updates and notifications during your entire college process.
The UNC Scholarship Application opens November 1. The deadline for first-year and continuing students is March 1. You can apply through your Ursa account. You’ll want to complete the FAFSA and the UNC Scholarship Application every year. We also encourage you to look for outside scholarships to lower your costs.
Attend New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation is a two-day summer event where you’ll register for classes, meet many of your classmates, get your student ID and more. You won’t be able to make your reservation until after you make your enrollment confirmation deposit. At that point, you’ll receive more information about how to sign up for orientation (registration opens mid-spring). If you’re a transfer student, you’ll also have the opportunity to attend orientation online.

Complete the ALEKS Math Placement Assessment
The ALEKS Math Placement Assessment is how UNC determines your placement for entry-level math and statistics courses. You don’t need to take this exam until after you have made your enrollment confirmation deposit.
Submit your immunization records
You must submit your immunization records before you can register for classes.
Submit the student health insurance waiver
甘肃快3人工计划If you enroll in nine or more credit hours, you’ll automatically be enrolled in the UNC-sponsored health insurance plan unless you provide documentation that you have comparable insurance by the 10th day of classes of the semester you start. You can submit your health insurance waiver via your .
Purchase a parking pass
If you’ll have a car while you’re at UNC, you can buy your parking pass through your (the option will be listed under the “Financial” tab).
Once you've graduated, ask your high school to send your final official transcript, complete with your final GPA and graduation date, to UNC’s Office of Admissions (either electronically or by mail甘肃快3人工计划).
To get credit for AP/IB/concurrent courses, send those transcripts or scores to the Office of Admissions.
